In 1995, Prof. Zhukov graduated cum laude from the Russian State Medical University, then entered a clinical residency at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Oncology Research Center, where he specialized in oncology (chemotherapy). After graduation in 1997, he entered academic graduate school, which he successfully graduated from in 2000. Between 2000 and 2006, he worked as a senior scientist at the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation, Intensive Chemotherapy and Intensive Care at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Oncology Research Center.
Since 2006, he’s worked at the D. Rogachev Federal Research Center (currently – National Medical Research Center) of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology, since 2010 he’s a Head of Department of Treatment Optimization of Adolescents, later – Head of Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology. In 2013-2014, he headed Department of Cancer Pharmacotherapy at the P.A. Gertzen Moscow Scientific Research Oncology Institute.
Since 2010, he’s an assistant professor of Department of Oncology, Hematology and Radiotherapy, N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
In 2001, he received PhD, in 2015 – DSci.
Prof. Zhukov has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific papers on cancer diagnostics and treatment.
He is a Board member of the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology( RUSSCO) and a Member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
